ABOUT LOS FELIZ
Los Feliz is a historic Los Angeles neighborhood with deep ties to the film industry. It was home to the original Disney Bros. Studio, where Walt and Roy Disney created Steamboat Willie in 1928, marking the official birth of Mickey Mouse. The area has been a backdrop for numerous iconic films, including Rebel Without a Cause, which featured Griffith Observatory, Swingers, which captured the neighborhood’s vibrant nightlife, and La La Land, with its dreamy sequences set against the backdrop of Griffith Park and the Los Feliz streets. With its blend of classic Hollywood charm and creative energy, Los Feliz remains a cornerstone of Los Angeles’ cinematic legacy.
